"Oh, my gd!" he exclaims. "How did I do that? How did I do that? It's a miracle!" I ask him to clarify precisely what he's talking about. The Johnny Carson gig or something else. "Oh, my gd! The Johnny Carson thing was a piece of cake compared to this! How'd I get to Priesthood Table!"

Those Priesthood Table seats are pretty exclusive. Elitist, some would say. "Was it Winnie? Tell me the truth. It was Winnie, right?" Whenever I see him I just smile. Jimmy's great and he knows how to let other people shine and perform at their best.

"Yeah, but you didn't know me. You didn't even watch Saturday Night Live. To this day, I don't understand that," he insists. I take a deep breath and blink, rolling my eyes animatedly. The truth is: I can envision myself watching Jimmy Fallon every night right before I go to bed for what is likely to comprise the rest of my life--specifically, 30 years. My thoughts are pleasant and decidedly enjoyable and uncontraversial when Jimmy is on the television.

"Really?" he says with contrived depth. "Because, I can be dark and soul stirring, too." But, I like Jimmy's charades and egg game thingy. And, of course, you gotta love Winnie.

"I'm so glad I got married and had that kid!" I roll my eyes with amusement that's just at the right level to experience and enjoy it every night for the next 30 years.
